Evergreen Dreams

$6.00Price

Evergreen Dreams is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern worked center-out! Included in the pattern are some different color combination ideas, as well as size and yardage for DK-weight and worsted-weight yarn. I have also included a photo and video tutorial for those who are new to working center-out overlay mosaic crochet!

Green version crocheted by Carol in Lionbrand Ferris wheel in Evergreen.

I made mine with Cascade Pacific Multi in Roses and Red Heart Soft Baby Steps in White. I used approximately 2,050 yards of Roses and 1,750 yards of White (for a total of 3,800 yards). Worsted weight estimated total is 5,000 yards.

The piece measures 55” x 55” without a border. The stitch dimensions are 246 x 246 (123 rounds). The size is subject to change depending on your crochet tension and yarn/hook choices.

This is beginner level center-out pattern. The PDF pattern is written in U.S. terminology and includes the full written pattern in a row-by-row format, as well as the ticked graphs. The written format is in a new, easier to read format! For additional assistance, please see the "Guide to Overlay Mosaic Crochet" free PDF available in the free pattern section.

Please note that different yarns, different tensions, and different hook sizes will all utilize a different amount of yarn. All yarn totals are included in the pattern. There are also estimations of yardage needed for varying sizes of blankets.

If you are new to my designs, please note I use “F” to indicate a front loop only stitch, and “B” to indicate a back loop only stitch in the written portion of the pattern.
