The Four Sides Throw is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern based on a theme of squares! This pattern was previously a CAL (crochet-a-long) and has been compiled into one PDF.
 
This pattern has a 32 stitch repeat but the CAL is based on a set size with worsted weight yarn (165st x 179st with a 13-round border). You are welcome to repeat motifs to add additional height/width to fit your needs!
 
This is a beginner level pattern - for tutorial videos on mosaic crochet, please download the "Guide to Overlay Mosaic Crochet" PDF available for free. The PDF does include a photo tutorial on creating a basic envelope border (covered in the video tutorial as well), as well as tutorials for the stylized envelope border.
 
The PDF pattern is written in U.S. terminology and includes the full written pattern in a row-by-row format, as well as the ticked graphs. The written format is in a new, easier to read format!
Please note that different yarns, different tensions, and different hook sizes will all utilize a different amount of yarn. All yarn totals are included in the pattern.
 
If you are new to my designs, please note I use “F” to indicate a front loop only stitch, and “B” to indicate a back loop only stitch in the written portion of the pattern.
