The Toasty Mosaic Set is an overlay mosaic crochet ear warmer and cowl pattern worked in the round! The pattern includes instructions for sport-weight and DK-weight yarn.
 
The PDF pattern is written in U.S. terminology and includes the full written pattern in a row-by-row format, as well as the ticked graphs. For tutorial videos on mosaic crochet, please download the "Guide to Overlay Mosaic Crochet" PDF available for free.
 
I made an ear warmer with sport weight yarn (Malabrigo Caprino) and a cowl with DK/light worsted weight yarn (Malabrigo Rios). Both were made with the colorways Natural and Cereza.
The ear warmer is to be made with sport weight (2-weight) or smaller yarn, the cowl can be made with DK (3-weight) or smaller yarn.
 
The size is subject to change depending on your crochet tension and yarn/hook choices. The way it is designed, it allows for the addition of more rows (or fewer) to adjust to your head size.
This is an advanced beginner level pattern and includes a beginner’s guide on how to do mosaic crochet as well as a video tutorial!
 
Please note that different yarns, different tensions, and different hook sizes will all utilize a different amount of yarn. All yarn totals are included in the pattern. There are also estimations of yardage needed for DK or sport weight yarn.
 
If you are new to my designs, please note I use “F” to indicate a front loop only stitch, and “B” to indicate a back loop only stitch in the written portion of the pattern.
